Teaching and Research

Dr. Karmakar is a teaching stuff of National Institute of  Cardiovascular Disease. He is regularly taking lecture and clinical classes of post graduate (MD and D-Card) students.

He is working as a co-guide to thesis to the post graduate (MD and D-Card) students. He is the key man who teach Echocardiography (2D,M-Mode,Doppler, Transesophageal) ECG and all the interventional procedures including coronary angiogram (CAG), Coronary Angioplasty and stenting, cardiac valvuloplasty and cardiac pacing.
Dr. Karmakar is regularly engaged in research connected with his clinical interests. More than twenty research work undergoing in National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
